Summer School 2025
General Guidelines:
The Freedom Area School District will again offer summer school courses.
Registration begins on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 6:00pm and ends on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 8:00am. Enrollment forms are available online. Any student whose legal residence is within the boundaries of the Freedom Area School District may enroll in the Freedom Summer School Program. Enrollment is also open to any students who legally reside in any of the school districts belonging to the Fox Valley Summer School Consortium. Students not residing in the Freedom Area School District must obtain the signature of the principal from your residence school district on the registration form. Out of district registration forms will not be accepted without the signature of your principal.
Dates of Operation:
Summer school will operate from Monday, June 9 through Friday, June 27, 2025. Please note that summer school runs Monday through Friday.
Cost:
There is no cost to students unless there is a materials fee or usage fee listed. Consult each course description for specific fees. Payment is due by Thursday, May 8, 2025 and can be either cash, e-funds, or checks made to the Freedom Area School District (FASD) and are non-refundable unless the class is canceled. If your child is signed up for a course once registration closes on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 6:00 PM, you ARE responsible for the cost of that course which is due May 8th by 4:00 PM in person to the office or E-fund 11:59 PM CST. IF YOUR FEES ARE NOT PAID BY THIS TIME YOUR CHILDS CLASSES WILL BE REMOVED.
Location:
Classes are offered at Freedom Elementary School, Freedom Middle/High School, and Freedom VFW Memorial Park. Please make sure you know where your child’s courses are being held.
Transportation:
Transportation to and from summer school is the responsibility of the parent and student. There will be no district transportation provided between school buildings for summer school classes.
Attendance:
Daily attendance is encouraged for all classes. Please call the elementary school and make them aware of any absences.
No lunch service will be provided during summer school.
