Academic Standards at Freedom Schools 2024-2025 The Freedom Area School District has adopted the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Language Arts, Disciplinary Literacy, and Math, and we are currently implementing the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) in Science. The district is also implementing the new Wisconsin Model Academic Standards in Social Studies and all related arts areas including Music, Art, Physical Education, Health Education, Foreign Language, Family and Consumer Education, Agriculture Education, Business Education, and Technology Education. The Information and Technology Literacy Standards are being infused into all curricular areas.
