School districts must provide certain annual notices as required by law. While we have included all the annual notices that we are aware of on the list below, it may not be all inclusive. Student Academic Standards
The Freedom Area School District will continue to implement the Wisconsin Academic Standards. details of these standards can be viewed at http://dpi.wi.gov/standards The academic standards identify what students should know and be able to do within a given content area or subject. Standards serve as goals and guideposts for both classroom instruction and student learning. In addition, the standards assist parents and students in gaining an understanding of the District's expectations for student learning.
Educational Options
In accordance with State Statute, the Freedom Area School District is required to provide notification of the educational options available to children who reside in the resident school district. The Freedom Area School District offers an educational pathway and instructional program that progresses from early childhood through 12th grade.
Title IX Nondiscrimination Policy
Notice of the Freedom Area School District polices on sex discrimination, the district's Title IX Coordinators, and procedures for reporting or filing a Title IX complaint. In addition, the district has processes and procedures related to Title IX grievance and resolution.
