All AP Students who are scheduled to take or are taking; AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP PreCalc, AP Psychology, AP Statistics or AP US History this year, in order to remain in AP Courses, even if they are terms 2, 3, and 4 and have not started yet, as need to do the following in order to be eligible to take an AP test:
1. Set Up a College Board Account-If you took an AP class and/or test last year, you will already have one.
2. Register for EACH AP Class SECTION-that you are taking this year.
3. Please follow the instructions on the linked hand out.
4. Please use the join codes shared in an email (AP PreCalc -terms 3 and 4) or in your AP class.
Please go to the College Board Website and create an account OR confirm that you have an active account. If a student took an AP course last year, they should already have a College Board account. Use an email that you will check regularly and it should not be your school email. All AP students will need to have a college board account and join their AP course sections account. If you choose to drop a course later, we can make that adjustment on our end. If you are taking an AP course, but decide not to take the AP exam, you still need to have an account and be registered in the AP class section that you are in. Please double check to ensure that you are using the corresponding join codes to the correct section of each class that you are in. These join codes are specific to Freedom High School Students Only and are not universal. Each high school has their own set of join codes assigned to them by the College Board.
College Board Registration and Payment for AP Testing is due Wednesday, October 30th.
