Advanced Placement Exams dates are set. Many Freedom High School students will be taking these exams in May, demonstrating that they are up to the challenge of rigorous, college-level course work. The course material, classroom discussions, and demanding assignments typical of AP courses help develop content mastery and the critical thinking skills expected of college student.
All AP students must enroll on-line through the College Board website. What this means for our AP students is that they will have to complete the enrollment process for each AP course they are taking.
Please note that once an AP student joins a course on the College Board website, they are automatically signed up to take the test.
The cost to take an AP test is $97
Payment for AP tests is due Thursday, November 9th. Checks can be made payable to FHS Testing.
Students who notify the High School Counseling Office they are no longer testing past the date of March 1st, 2024 will be charged $40 for the late drop as that is the fee that the College Board will assess FASD.
College Credits for AP Test Scores
AP Credits are awarded based on the college you are applying to. You will need to go to your prospective college's website to determine how they will award credits.
