End of Year Book Checkout Information: With the end of the school year fast approaching, the library needs to start wrapping things up. Students, please note that the last week for book checkout will be next week,
May 5th -9th, and all books should be returned by May 16th.

HIGHWAY CLEAN UP: Thursday, May 1st, the FFA is conducting a highway clean up from 2:45-5:30 pm. If you would like to participate, talk to Ms. Heenan or Mrs. Heezen! This does count for volunteer hours.

PROM FUNDRAISER: Tuesday, May 6th the Sophomore Class is sponsoring a Prom fundraiser at Scoop & Roll from 4pm to 8pm. A percentage of the profits will help raise funds for Prom. Scoop and Roll is located at N162 Eisenhower Dr Suite 750, Appleton, WI 54915. Please come out to support the class and enjoy some delicious ice cream or refresher drinks.

TRAP SHOOTING: Any students interested in joining a trap shooting club please sign up in the high school office by Mrs. Midbon. At this time this is gauging interest.

NEXT YEAR CAPP AND CCIHS: ALL sophomores and juniors taking a CAPP or CCIHS course next year need to apply to UWGB and UWO as CCIHS and CAPP students. Please sign up for the application sessions being held during Irish hour in guidance on Tuesday, May 6th. Bring your Chromebook. Even if you took a CAPP or CCIHS course this year, you will still need to reapply to be eligible for next year.

Surgical Career Exploration Event: Monday, May 19, 2025, at 6:30 AM until 10:30 AM
Join Diana Amundson, Surgical Assistant Program Director, during an observation of Dr. Ough, general surgeon, at Bellin Health. Students will observe a general robotics surgery from the gallery and have a chance to meet with Dr. Ough and his staff before and after surgery to ask questions. The ending time of this event may vary depending on the length of the surgeries.

Bellin College Day Camps: Bellin College of Nursing is offering two-day camps in which students will spend time at Bellin College participating in different hands-on simulations related to the area of healthcare that interests them, along with taking a trip to our local hospitals to shadow healthcare workers on specific floors. We are also taking a trip to the new Bellin Health Outpatient Surgery center for more hands-on activities! This is a great opportunity to see if healthcare is the career for you, and what a day in your life would look like. Must be 16 years old. See link below to apply:

AFTER SCHOOL STUDY PROGRAM: This will be held in the Library from 3:30-4:30 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week. All students in grades 6-12 are welcome to attend. Parents/Guardians are responsible for pickup promptly at 4:30.

School starts at 8:00 AM which means you need to be in the classroom before the bell rings at 8:00. Tardy’s will be issued if you arrive in the classroom after the 8:00 bell.

Students, please make sure you bring what you need in from your vehicles in the morning, this will be limited on going out to your vehicle during class time.
