For Recess: All students must come out beyond the fenced area to be visible to supervisors during recess. Students should be in the parking lot area. No one is allowed past the water tower.
Negative Lunch Balances: if you have a negative lunch balance, you are not able to get any extras. Only the full meals (breakfast and lunch) are available. This means that no drinks besides milk, no megas, and no extra PB&Js. You still have access to unlimited fruits and vegetables, just not anything that would cost extra.
After School Parent Pick Up: if you are getting picked up by your parent please make sure to exit the building
through the FH doors as that is the area they should be parked in.
Future Fire Drills: due to construction we will now be exiting through the FH and dumpster doors. You will line up in the staff parking lot.
Vending Machines: MS students you are reminded that you are NOT to be going to the HS vending machines.
Busses to the Elementary School: if you need to take a bus to the elementary school it is route 65.
Cell Phones: students you are once again reminded that your cell phones need to be turned off and, in your locker, when school starts and remain there until the end of the day. They should not be used to contact parents to pick you up. If you are not feeling well, please report to the office.
Lunchtime: all food needs to be eaten in the cafeteria at lunchtime. There should NOT be anything brought
outside.
Cafeteria/Breakfast: you should only be in the cafeteria in the morning if you are eating breakfast. If not eating, you should be in your respective lobby area. When done eating it is your responsibility to clean up after yourself.
Attention FMS Students: after-School Study is back for us on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Students who wish to take advantage of this program should report to the Library promptly at 3:30 and must arrange to be picked up promptly at 4:30 by a parent. We have a math and/or ELA teacher available to help you. This is a quiet study time where you can get help with homework and other assignments.
Attention FMS Students: we’ve noticed that we have not been putting chairs and tables back to their proper location at the end of our lunch time. Please take the time to clean up your area and return any chairs or tables to their original position. Mr. Bins and Dr. Methner will be paying particular attention to this and we are hopeful that you can maintain the privileges we have given this year with regard to seating in the cafeteria.
MS Snack Cart: 8th grade will be on Tuesdays, 7th grade Wednesdays and 6th grade Thursdays. Most snacks are between $.50 and $1.00. Students should remain in their classroom until they knock on the teacher’s door.
Busses: students please pay close attention to the busses at the end of the day when crossing the road.
Crossing the Street: students are reminded that when you are attending a sporting event and want to go over to the gas station to please use the crosswalk where there are lights. We are concerned about your safety. Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
Lockers: students you are reminded to make sure that your locker is locked. We do not want to see anything removed from your locker because it is not locked. Also, there is absolutely NO setting your lock. This can wreck the mechanism and you may be held accountable for replacement.
Hot Breakfast: new this year. The kitchen will be serving hot breakfast from 7:30 – 7:50. Make sure to stop in and try it.
Recess: All food and drink should be consumed in the cafeteria. Please do not bring any part of your lunch out to recess.
