Old announcements:
MS Students: you are reminded you must STAY on campus when arriving to school. No going across the street to the gas station.
Cafeteria in the AM: students you are only to be in the cafeteria in the morning if you are eating breakfast. If you are not, you are to be in your respective lobby area. Thanks for your cooperation!
Cell Phones: students are reminded that cellphones are required to be turned off and left in your locker during the school day. If you need to contact your parent or guardian, please come to the middle school office where you can use the phone located there. Our goal is to create and nurture a distraction-free learning environment, and we all need to do our part! Per the student handbook, abuse of our cellphone rule may result in confiscation of your phone, requiring your parent or guardian to pick it up, and an after-school detention.
Milk: even if you are bringing a cold lunch and you take a milk from the cafeteria it still needs to be paid for.
Breakfast: if who are taking advantage of our breakfast program you are asked to stay in the cafeteria until 7:50 AM to avoid congestion in the hallways. We ask middle school students to sit in the 8th grade area right outside of the breakfast line. So, folks, please time your breakfast to finish up right at 7:50! You are only to be in the cafeteria in the morning if you are eating breakfast; otherwise you should be your respective lobby area.
Students Eating School Lunch: if you are eating school lunch you need to be in the lunch line and not waiting until the line is short. Our food service department uses the length of the line to determine how many meals they need to have prepared. When you enter the line late, they may not have enough warm food to serve you. Thank you for your help in this matter.
Busses to the Elementary School: if you need to go from the MS to the Elementary school girls should ride on bus route 65 and boys bus route 63.
- Release Days: FMS students are not to bring their backpacks, coats, and/or phones to the lunch room on 1/2 days. You will be allowed to go and get their things before the buses arrive at 12:30.
Library: this is a reminder to students that the library is not open until the 1st bell rings at 7:50 AM. Students should not be outside the library doors before the bell.
Lockers: setting your locker is against school rules. If something becomes missing from your locker that will be one of the first questions you will be asked.
Hallways: students you are once again being reminded to WALK in the hallways. Absolutely no running!
Attention FMS and FHS Students: we are now offering an after-school study program for all students in grades 6-12 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 PM in the library. After school-study is a time when you can work on homework, and get help from math and ELA teachers. If you don't have a driver's license, please remember to arrange to be picked up promptly at 4:30.
Student Reminder: when you arrive to school in the morning please report to your respective area.
6th and 7th grade field house lobby; 8th grade MS lobby. You may go to your locker as soon as the 7:50 bell rings.
Chrome Books: Students, please remember to charge and bring your Chrome Book to school daily. There has been an extreme number of students borrowing Chrome Books from the Library. As a reminder, you must have your ID in order to checkout a Chrome Book. All Chrome Books that are loaned out must be returned to the Library BEFORE the end of the day.
Classes on Time: students please make sure you are making an effort to get to your classes on time.
Irish Hour: students please make sure you are checking your chrome book as to whom you should be reporting to for Irish Hour. Make sure to report to that teacher first for attendance purposes.
Students: Please remember to get a Doctor’s Note when you are going for appointments, this helps with your attendance count. Please bring to the MS Office or they can be faxed to
920-788-7701 or emailed to dreiter@freedomschools.k12.wi.us
