What is the grading scale?
Each middle school class uses the same grading scale. The grading scale (posted in each 7th grade core classroom) is as follows:
97%-100% - A+ |
93% - 96% - A |
90% - 92% - A- |
87% - 89% - B+ |
83% - 86% - B |
80% - 82% - B- |
77% - 79% - C+ |
73% - 76% - C |
70% - 72% - C - |
67% - 69% - D+ |
63% - 66% - D |
60% - 62% - D - |
59% or below - F |
How can I find out my student's progress?
- Students can record daily assignments and test/quiz grades into their agenda books.
- Some teachers will post grades in their classrooms or show students grades on a regular basis.
- Online grades - use the Skyward name and password provided to you by the school district on the Skyward website (link on left hand menu of this page). Teachers update grades at least once a week. If questions arise, please ask your student before contacting a teacher.

How can my child get homework if s/he is absent?

How can my student get extra credit?
Extra credit is offered on a limited basis in some classes. Rather than focus on extra credit, focus on completing daily work instead.

- Students should bring their agenda book to ALL classes EVERY day.
- Handing in work on time is important to ALL classes.
