The middle school years represent one of the most important and significant periods of personal development for students. The middle grades give students the opportunity to continue their academic skills and to develop a personal commitment to educational goals while developing positive feelings for their abilities and themselves.
It is extremely important that students develop socially and academically during their time in middle school and our staff will do everything possible to help students succeed! We have an excellent staff at Freedom Middle School, a staff very proud to be "in the middle." As a staff, we are committed to offering all students opportunities that will improve their academic skills and abilities through appropriate and challenging learning experiences. Helping students reach their full potential is what Freedom Middle School is all about.
The administration and staff will do all we can to provide an atmosphere at school where students will feel welcome and wanted, an atmosphere that will promote positive feelings about their school, and, most importantly, an atmosphere that will help each of the students feel good about themselves.
Helping students develop and maintain self-esteem and self-belief while providing them opportunities to enjoy learning success is what we strive to do for our students. Effective education is and always will be an "our" task, never a "their" task. Together we will all make a difference. For any school to be successful, positive parental support is a key factor. It is our hope that parents will provide us with support, and will be invested in their child's education.
The doors of the Freedom Middle School are open at 7:45 in the morning. Students are expected to be in their classrooms when the bell rings. Normal office hours of the middle school are 7:30 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. Monday - Friday.
