REACH = we’re focusing on the letter C for Citizenship for the months of March and April.
MAPSS Meeting: the next meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 1 at 5:00. All student reps. are expected to be in attendance.
G/T: due to testing this week there will be no G/T classes. Please stay with your guided study teacher.
Saturday School: reminder to those students that are making this up tonight from 3:25 - 4:25 meet in Mr. Reed’s room after school today.
Dress Code: now that the weather is getting warmer remember the MS dress code. You must wear capped sleeves and no short shorts allowed or you will be asked to call home for a change of clothes.
6th and 7th Grade: reminder your class selection forms are due in the office Friday, April 28. If you need another copy please stop in the office.
Summer Reading Programs: these are open to students entering 7th through 9th grade. If you are interested please pick up a flyer in the office.
Freedom Cheer and Stunt: interested in Freedom Cheer and Stunt? Come to open stunt on Wednesday, May 17th at 5:00 - 6:30 pm in the Elementary School Multipurpose Room.
Tryout practice for Middle School Cheer will be Thursday, May 25th from 5 - 6:30 pm. Final tryouts will be Wednesday, May 31st from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. All events will take place in the Elementary School Multipurpose Room. Please contact Megan Fahey with any questions, firstname.lastname@example.org.
8th Grade Students: Varsity Dance Team Pre-Tryout Meeting Do you love to dance? Do you want to be a part of something amazing? Parents and dancers, come and meet the new coaches and find out what being a member of the Freedom Varsity Dance Team is all about! Freedom Softball Camp: open to all girls in grades 2 through 8. If interested stop in the office and pick up the registration form that is due Monday, May 1st.
Crazy Color FUNd Run/Walk: the second annual Crazy Color FUNd run/walk is being held on Saturday, May 20. Last year, over 350 people participated! Come join in the fun, and bring your friends and family! The first 150 registrants receive a water bottle as part of registration. Hand in your registration form and payment to the office.
6th and 7th Grade Students: if you are interested in playing football next season please stop in the office and pick up the flyer that pertains to the athlete/parent meeting.
8th Grade Boys Interested in Hockey: welcome to the Fox Cities Stars boys 2017 - 2018 hockey team! We are having a spring player and parent meeting on Monday, May 1 at 5:30pm at Xavier High School in the commons. This meeting is for both new and returning families. The commons is the cafeteria located at the main circle entrance. We will talk about the summer and fall training opportunities as well as the expectations leading up to the start of the season in early November. We will also go over team apparel and lots of other things pertaining to the season.
