MAP Measures of Academic Progress

MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) is a student assessment computer based program that will be administered to all grades in the Middle School beginning with the 2008-2009 school year.  This is a growth assessment that identifies the amount of learning that has occurred during the time between the fall test and the spring test of the same academic year.  Students will be tested in the content areas of mathematics, science, language usage, and reading.  The company that designed this test instrument (North West Evaluation Association) is currently working on a test in the area of social studies; an addition our district will add when it becomes available.  Each test takes students less than one hour to complete and detailed test data is available to teachers within 48 hours after the test session has been completed.  To learn more details concerning the MAP testing process feel free to browse the link provided below.
