In 2010 Jeff Schneider became the second coach of the boys soccer program at Freedom High School. Prior to his time at Freedom he served as the head junior varsity coach from 2005-2009 at Bay Port High School in Green Bay. During his tenure on the staff at Bay Port the Pirates won two conference championships and had a number of players go on to play collegiate soccer. Over the course of his career as both a junior varsity and varsity coach he has complied an overall record of 78-68-19. While at Freedom he has continued to build what is still a relatively young program by adding events such as a youth camp for future Irish soccer players and an alumni game. In 2012 Freedom achieved a milestone victory against conference foe Fox Valley Lutheran. The 2-1 victory marked the first program win over the Foxes who had recently been to the state title game in 2009 and 2010. In addition to his role at Freedom, Schneider is the general manager for the DC Express men's soccer team which competes in the Northern Wisconsin Soccer League and coaches for the Howard Hurricanes Soccer Club. Coach Schneider's background includes attending high school at Green Bay East and continuing his education at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where he graduated in 2005. He has over 20 years of soccer experience as both a player and coach. Schneider holds a USSF "E" national coaching license.
