Email Special Education Phone: 920 788-7950 My name is Jodi Frailing and I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Freedom Area School District for the past 12 years. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater in May of 1991. In August of 1992, I obtained my Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. From August of 1992 through May of 1995 I worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Milton School District. I have been with the Freedom Area School District since August of 1995. I live in Appleton with my husband, 2 children and my miniature schnauzer. My hobbies include stamping, scrapbooking, shopping, going for walks and spending time with my family.
My role as a speech-language pathologist includes the diagnosis and remediation of communication disorders and delays in children ages 3 years through first grade. In order to receive speech therapy services, children need to exhibit a significant delay, meeting the criteria for an impairment as established by DPI. Children may qualify with an impairment in the areas of: Receptive Language, Expressive Language, Fluency, Articulation or Voice.
