Special Education

The Freedom Area School District's Special Education department offers high quality services to students with disabilities.  We take great pride in being able to offer an extensive variety of services, programs, and placements that meet the individual needs of students, ages three through twenty-one.  We strive to collaborate with parents to ensure that each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) is tailored to the student's specific needs, which results in the student receiving a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE).  It is our belief that all children deserve a quality education, that all children learn from each other, and that all children are an important part of the Freedom Area Schools District community.
